my workshop 01

When making something new, I always think clearing the kitchen table is a good idea. However, this particular table lives not in a kitchen, but up in the hayloft of a barn. I designed and custom built this table for the singular purpose of constructing wooden kayaks. It is sixteen feet long by two feet wide, fitted with industrial strength lockable wheeled castors, and sits upon a set of trestles that are fully adjustable to enable a multitude of functions throughout the building process. Thus, I am able to build wooden kayaks to a certain size within the specific confines of my workshop.
